Thoughts about Personal Knowledge Management in the AI era

“AI will make learning obsolete” — headlines like these are common in the media today. However, this is nonsense. Learning is a deeply ingrained human capability. What is true, though, is that organizing, prioritizing, and applying your learning is becoming more of your personal responsibility. And that’s a good thing — only you know what knowledge you need, when you need it, and how to make sense of it.

For decades, you’ve been influenced by parents, teachers, governments, and companies who claimed to know better. It’s time to break free from this distorted concept of learning. You are at the center of your knowledge, and it is the connection with your inner self that transforms knowledge into wisdom. Your inner self is the true essence, the core of your being that knows your values, desires, and purpose.

To live authentically and meaningfully, you need to engage with the world around you. How can you make existing external knowledge accessible and relevant to your personal journey?
